In the V-Tamer manga Daemon (Lord) was the leader of Virus Digimon heading a take over the Digital World and the Real World. At first he lets Etemon Etemonkey take care of the hero, Taichi. Dissatisfied with Etemon Etemonkey, Daemon (Lord) recruits a human, Neo, to battle Taichi by raising the Super Ultimate Digimon, Arkadimon. Neo backstabbed Daemon (Lord) and unleashed Arkadimon on him. Arkadimon evolved all the way up to Super Ultimate, but was defeated. To everyone's surprise, Daemon (Lord) revealed that this was part of his plan all along. Using the remaining data of Arkadimon, Daemon (Lord) evolved to Daemon Super Ultimate.
